Miley Cyrus Twerking?!

Yes! You read it right folks the lovable Disney star Miley Cyrus, 20 was joined on stage with Robin Thicke to perform her new single ‘We can’t stop’. Now most of us know Miley Cyrus from her most popular Disney TV series ‘Hanna Montana’. Where she played an innocent country girl singer living a double life, juggling superstardom and the average normal teenage live. But enough of that story. After the show reached it limit of episodes, she went on to focusing on her singer career and haven’t turned back since. In a recent interview, she said that ‘She wanted to show her fan something new…something different’. (I guess the bright eyed, cutesy look is getting a bit over played). None the less she stuck to her word BELIEVE ME! Miley performed at the VMA awards 2013 wearing what is known to be a teddy bear swimsuit/play-suit dancing around the stage with her new shaved new look and blonde plaits whilst ‘twerking’ in front of fans and grinding up and down Robin Thicke. ‘Criiinge!’  Personally, I couldn't imagine her doing that and not because she was portrayed as a sweet girl because c’mon! Disney teenagers can’t all holly and innocent. They’re teenagers! Because it’s the massive transition within a few weeks and I feel like you need a certain ‘persona’ the ‘Va Va Vum’ if you will to put that stunt off.  Move over Lady GAGA looks like Miley stole the weird limelight from you this time round.  Fans and Celebs watched it cringe-worthy performance probably wondering: ‘should I look away or not?’

Before you knew news went worldwide and comments after comments started pouring in from the like of Instagram and the addicted Twitter and yes last but not least YouTube. Videos passing a remarkable one million hits within the same day! And we certainly can’t forget about those hilarious MEMES (Yep, it’s started already). The most popular MEME to spread around the internet is a pic of Miley Cyrus Bottom and underneath is a picture of a chicken’s bottom! And just gets worse! Comments all along twitter and YouTube all sounded pretty much alike. E.g.:’ Miley that ass is as flat as the back of guitar!!’ and ‘Rip Hanna’. But some good comments can out of this and so has the many other people offending her like: ‘I used to like Taylor Swift... And her music... But she needs to grow up... Get over it darling’ and ‘I don't understand why everybody has a problem with the performance of Miley Cyrus!  At the end she earns the millions. 2. it’s her life! 3. Everybody shows with the finger to her but are NOT BETTER!!!’ I mean, she has a point or does she? Twerking’s been around for ages now. We don’t moan when we she sexy superstar Beyoncé’s shaking her hips or The Bajan Beauty whining down, so what makes her any different?

Drake’s New Cover Revealed!

                                                

Now, I know what you’re thinking (well, actually I don’t) but if I could, I probably can guess the comments already. It’s not like Drake to surprise us with different selling Strategies but this time round I don’t think he got it right trying to connect with his existing ‘die hard fans’. It’s different approach because it definitely shows more heart and soul in music as a whole and expressed his most inner thoughts.  Or it could represent his two personas the child on the left ‘Drake’ whilst showing Drake nowadays on the right ‘Drizzy’ Stage name.  A few comments from fans on his Facebook page made comments suggesting he resembles ‘Blue Ivy’ Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s baby girl. Some were more positive and said it was ‘brilliant’ and ‘unique design’.

This was said from the artist himself "Art is always open for interpretation, but he wanted something that represented his heart both as a kid and as an adult,"… "I looked at a number of photographs of him as a little kid, and there was nothing I found exactly like that, so I had to imagine what Drake looked like as a little boy from the side’. What’s your opinion on this? Do you feel it’s inspiration for those looking to strive in the music industry?

Beyoncé’s ‘monster munch’ in Nandos!

Pop star sensation Beyoncé spent almost £1,500 at an Essex branch of chicken chain Nando's following her performance at the V Festival on Saturday 17^th August.

It was said that the order included 48 whole chickens, 24 tubs of coleslaw, 58 chicken wing platters and 48 portions of chips. Imagine that? I guess the pop star got bored of those salads and subway sandwiches. (That’s right folks! Who needs a loyalty card when you could just buy half shop and its food?)

But due to her ‘pigging out’ this caused her to arrive to her own performance almost 30mins late! The crowd got into a frenzy along with an uproar of boos from her many devoted fans. (To be fair, you can’t blame them especially how they waited in the rain to watch the glamor model perform). However, she made it up to her fans looking ‘amazing’ wearing a bright blue sequined jump suit and her various other stunning outfits by singing all-time favourites and most popular singles like: ‘Halo’, ‘Irreplaceable’ and ‘Run this world’. 

RI-RI’s releases ‘a sneak peak’ of her hot new second collection for River Island!

As we all know, R&B superstar Rihanna made a remarkable impact on one of one Britain’s well known retailers River Island earlier this year. From sexy crop tops to the retro denim on denim look, her second collection for this autumn/winter clothes line, we’ll be going back in time to the 80’s! (That’s right folks! Jerry curls and neon prints are back in business!) Her first effort, the new 80-piece collection focuses heavily on sports-luxe, but has been updated for autumn with moody shades of oxblood, grey as well as punk-inspired prints. 

RI-Ri’s new clothes line is due to go on sale on the 12^th September and the second following in November.

So girls and guys it's that exciting time in the year wear we make a start to minimizing the dull black colours, chuck away giant knit wear and sweaters and embrace the bright colourful blouses, skirt, chinos the lot!  We're just inches away to summer but still enjoying that new fresh feeling of change. Superstar Rihanna paid a visit to London yesterday to switch on the Christmas lights and to top it off dazzle her many UK fans by performing her no1 hit single: 'Diamonds' in Westfield Stratford City.

 

1,000 people from far and wide came to see the Bajan beauty in the flesh to flick the Xmas lights on so much people attended this event it was said most places within Westfield was packed with people 'like sardines' but all and all most people agreed 'it was worth the travel' Westfield never looked so magical. 

And the evening just got better for some, RiRi fans who were lucky enough to win the wristbands from the official Westfield website to see the Rihanna perform 'Diamonds' in Cherry Park and the ever luckier Fans who won 'the special package wristband' ‘Meet and Greet' Rihanna with photos and signatures! How exciting is that! Security guard members for Rihanna's Concert said: 'out of all the places I've worked over the past few years this topped the lot as the busiest and craziest event. I knew Rihanna would love but I had people camping within the park couple metres away from the stand since security's quite strict. Fans literally camped outside from 9pm to early hours of 6am to make sure they get the first row seats. Unbelievable.'

As usual Rihanna never fails to disappoint her fans. She gave a brilliant performs showing off her vocal skills, memorable dance moves that we love to imitate (girls you know its true) and the all important swag wearing head to toe Spring Summer 2013 catwalk pieces, with both her Acne trousers and top and her Raf Simons double breasted coat from the menswear collections a true trend setter and even gave praise to the lucky children able to joining Rihanna on stage campaigning for the save the children charity. Awww.

Rihanna super fans Chelsea Smith, Matt Robinson and Sharon brown made comments and agreed that: ‘this was by far the best performance I've been to this year! Rihanna was brilliant! - Chelsea Smith

Everything was just amazing! The fireworks display; the stunning lighting effects and I can't forget the talented back-up dancers who made Rihanna look even more awesome!  - Matt Robinson
